New version of Propellerhead’s Reason coming up

It’s been 2 years since Propellerhead released Reason 3.0 (virtual-studio-in-a-rack software), featuring especially the Combinator, which you can use to stack an unlimited number of devices inside of. I am using Reason 3 for live performances, and it has performed tremendously well for my rather demanding needs, replacing drum machines, synthesizers, and other gadgets.
They have one of the most dedicated forum groups (of which I am part of) of almost any company, and for the past 2 years, feature requests and Reason rants have raged. As usual. I personally requested an arpeggiator, along with a number of others, and it seems to have borne fruit.
Up to the Winter NAMM this year, Reason user frustration & demand for a new version was escalating. Propellerhead, who quite notoriously never reveal future or immediate product plans or releases, gave a technology preview at NAMM of just one upcoming device for Reason, and have said that they “will be announcing the new version”, seemlingly indicating an eminent official release.
