Adapters VS Adapter Cables
Audio
adapters are often an easy, inexpensive
way to solve connectivity
issues in the studio. They are useful in a pinch, but if there is a
permanent situation where one is used, a better option is an adapter
cable.
By using a cable with the connections
of the source and the destination, one can skip using a common cable
with an adapter on the end, and therefore maintain higher signal
quality, while simplifying connections throughout the setup.
Using normal adapters at the end of a cable compromises
signal quality, as the signal has to jump between surfaces 1 or more
times than normal. A high quality adapter cable maintains a signal well
because it keeps the connections as simple as possible.
We
use Mogami cable and Neutrik connectors in our adapter
cables, and
apply all the same manufacturing steps we use for our other cables.
If we don't have an adapter cable with the connections
you
need, we
will be glad to custom-build it for you. Please contact us at

specifications and quantities you are looking for, and we will
send you a quote.
